Refund & cancellation policy
How refunds, changes, and cancellations work for packages purchased through Idea Atelier. Fare rules on each listing take precedence where they are stricter.

Travel packages & supplier rules
Many getaways are built from partner inventory (hotels, tours, transport blocks) with their own cancellation and amendment deadlines. What you can change or cancel — and any fees — depends on that package's stated rules, the fare type you chose, and how close you are to the travel date. Where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply.
When we will usually help
We aim to be fair. Contact us at support@idea-atelier.com if:
- You were charged incorrectly or twice for the same order.
- You never received a valid confirmation or voucher for a trip you paid for because of a technical failure on our side.
- The itinerary or inclusions we delivered are materially wrong versus what you purchased and we cannot correct them in time.
In those situations we may offer a refund, credit, or rebooking at our discretion, in line with applicable law and supplier policy.
When refunds are often limited
- Change of mind after non-refundable supplier components are ticketed or inside the supplier's no-refund window.
- Missed travel, no-shows, or unused portions of a package where the listing stated non-refundable segments.
- Disruption caused by events outside our control (weather, strikes, government travel restrictions) where suppliers do not refund — we will still help you explore options with them.
Chargebacks
Please email us before initiating a payment dispute so we can resolve the issue quickly. Unwarranted chargebacks may affect future bookings.
